Meet Fritz, our amazing light-up snowman!
We thought with 12 inches of new snow we needed to build a snowman. Daddy had an awesome idea and it turned out even better than we thought!
We wrapped each ball of the snowman in multi-colored outdoor string Christmas lights, then packed on more snow over the lights. We finished the snowman off the traditional way with rocks for his eyes and mouth, a carrot for a nose, and sticks for his arms.
The kids had a blast building the snowman and playing in the snow all afternoon. I asked what we should name it and our littlest immediately said “Fritz!” So Fritz it is!
During the day you can’t see the lights at all, but as soon as it’s dark it’s like magic! The lights glow through the snow and blend together. It looks amazing!
There was some serious squealing when we saw him lit up! We’re hoping he sticks around for January and helps us celebrate the New Year!
We’d love to see your snowmen if you try this! Share your photos through email info@jugglingsix.com or on social media by tagging @jugglingsix
Have some family fun in the snow this winter!
